Why does President Clinton love that rug? Does it bring back nice memories of back when Monica Lewinski and he did curtain things on that rug that they never should have been doing in the first place (he was married)? What he and that woman, Monica Lewinski did in the Oval Office was the most disgracing thing that he did as President.Im an arch conservative, and yet I used to defend Clinton against attack from my very conservative friends and family. I would tell them that he was elected by the majority of voters and that he is our President, give him a break. And then came that day, that day when Bill Clinton looked me and the rest of the countrymen right in the eye, and without having to do it, he lied to us. It was a bold faced lie!I believed him and I as usual defended him. You see, I thought that he did have sex with her, that woman, Monica Lewinsky, but when he told me right to my face that he didnt, I believed him. I told people that he would not stand up there and lie to us; that would make no sense. Needless to say that when I found out he had been lying to us, I stopped defending him from that time on until this very day. Now I spend my days defending Obama for the same reasons. I take a lot of heat for it, but it is just the way that I am; I believe in the election process. We need to take our loses as well as we take our wins.
